INSTALLATION
● Before connecting Smart Partner, check that the voltage on the data plate matches that
of the electric system. In the event of incompatibility between the power socket and the
appliance's plug, have the plug replaced with a suitable model by a qualified professional,
who should ensure that the cable is appropriate for the power rating of the device. The
use of adaptors is not advisable; if it is necessary to use them, they must comply with
safety regulations and the total current (amps) must not be rated lower than the maximum
current of the appliance. Do not use extensions leads.
● Connect Smart Partner to the socket nearest the air conditioner: there must not be any
barriers between the air conditioner and the socket; it is best that it is on the same wall
and no further than 5m.Check that the Smart Partner cannot be damaged and that it is
out of reach of children or people with limited cognitive impairments, or animals
USE
Before each use, ensure that the appliance is in good order and positioned correctly:
periodically check these conditions. Furthermore:
a.
Check that the router is for home use (i.e. it has no access restrictions other than the
password), the WiFi network is 2.4 GHz, the WiFi signal is strong and uniform in the
room where the Smart Partner is to be installed.
b.
Make sure the smart phone is connected to the same WiFi network as the Smart
Partner.
c.
Reset the Smart Partner by pressing and holding the "reset" button (2) for a few
seconds (about 5 seconds).
d.
Check that the warning light is red and intermittent.

Download the APP:
- either by scanning the QR code on the side.
- or by downloading the Hotech-Bimar application on your smart phone: from the Google
Play service for Android or from the App Store for iOS.
