• use only in fully assembled state, and make sure that all
clamps securing the filter top to the base are snapped
down into the closed position before turning on the pump.
• the uV lamp and quartz sleeve are fragile. please
inspect for any signs of damage prior to installing.
NOTe: Do not touch UV lamp with bare hands
as the oil from skin may damage the bulb
performance. Make sure there is no moisture
inside the quartz sleeve or on the bulb prior to operating.
• the filter is weatherproof, but is not designed
to be submerged into the pond. submerging
the pond filter could cause electric shock
and will void the product warranty
• if located in a cold freezing climate remove
pond filter during the winter, drain filter
and store in a frost free location.
