Cleaning the Exhaust Air Filter
The exhaust air fi lter is located on the back of the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the housing and nozzles
•
If needed, clean the housing with a damp, soft cloth.
•
Regularly remove hair and lint from the nozzles.
Troubleshooting
If the device should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct
the problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The vacuum clean-
er has no suction
power.
The dust container
cannot be inserted.

1. Press the catch towards the exhaust air grille and remove
it.
2. Take out the fi lter, tap it out over a dustbin and brush off
the loose dirt. You can also rinse the fi lter with clear, luke-
warm water. CAUTION: Do not use any cleaning agent!
Then shake off any excess water and let the fi lter dry
completely in the air.
3. If necessary, brush or wipe the fi lter compartment clean.
4. Insert the fi lter into the fi lter compartment.
5. Insert the exhaust air grille into the device and then fl ip
it shut.
Possible cause/solution
•
Is the mains plug not correctly connected with a socket?
Correct the position of the mains plug.
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse for your mains connection.
•
Is the lid correctly attached to the dust container? The
dust container must be closed correctly to allow it to be
inserted.
