Cleaning the Dust Container Cyclone Insert and Motor Filters
The cyclone insert is located in the dust container. The motor fi lters (HEPA and foam
fi lter) are seated on the cyclone insert (20).
1. Remove the dust container from the device and empty it (see the "Emptying the Dust
Container" section).

8. Clean the cyclone insert and dust container with a damp cloth.
9. When all parts are dry, reassemble them. CAUTION: Under no circumstances
should you place damp device parts into the dust container!
10. Place the lid onto the dust container so that the arrow marked on the edge of the lid
is pointed to the

11. Insert the dust container into the device. Make sure that it audibly locks in place.

3. Pull the catch away from the dust container. The bottom of
the dust container will open and the dirt will fall out.
4. Close the bottom of the dust container again. The fasten-
er must be heard to engage in place.
5. Plug the closed dust container into the motor unit. Press
the dust container handle against the housing until it en-
gages audibly.
2. Turn the lid of the dust container until the arrow marked
on the edge of the lid is pointed to the
dust container. Then, remove the lid.
3. Turn the HEPA fi lter (18) a little in an anticlockwise direc-
tion and remove it.
Please note: The HEPA fi lter is attached to the fi lter hold-
er and cannot be taken out of the holder!
4. Remove the foam fi lter (19).
5. Carefully remove the cyclone insert from the dust contain-
er. For this put your hand into the dust container and push
the cyclone insert up.
6. Tap out all the parts over a dustbin and brush off the loose
dirt.
7. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the fi lters using clear, luke-
warm water. CAUTION: Do not use any cleaning agent!
Then shake off any excess water and let the fi lters dry
completely in the air.
