Overview
Center round bar.
Center the bar so that
the ends of the crossbar
protruding from the towers
are set to an equal distance.
Tighten RailGrab towers to bar.
Check your work.

CHECK THE INSTALLATION!

Grip the crossbar inboard to towers;
push and pull using only arm strength.
The vehicle should rock back and forth,
but the RailGrabs should not budge.

Claw Set Up
Note the vertical position
of the claw, and repeat the
process for the other tower.
Check both towers and
readjust as necessary.
Locate the silver
bar tightener.
Note to Rack Dawgs: 88 in-lb
(10 Nm) maximum torque on
both 5-mm screws.
Install first Determine
set of towers crossbar spread
Install second set
of towers
Here's a tip. Look at the
markings on the claw base
relative to the markings
on the claw, and use this
measurement to help in
adjusting the other tower.
Turn the silver bar screw using
the supplied wrench clockwise
to completely tighten the
RailGrab to the crossbar.
Be sure to tighten both towers!
