Position indicator light
Green and fl ashing to show the use of
the left and right position indicators
High beam indicator light
A blue light switches on when the high
beam is on
Oil level gauge
This light switches on when the en-
gine oil level is low
It is possible to check the electrical cir-
cuit for the light by turning the key to
"ON" Once the engine is running, the
light should switch off
If the light does not switch on when
the key is turned to "ON" or if the
light stays on, get the electrical cir-
cuit checked by an authorised Benelli
centre.
Neutral gear indicator light
A green light that switches on to show
that the gear pedal is in neutral.
Rev counter
The rev counter shows the running
OF
INSTRU-
turnover of the engine so that the rider
can keep it within the ideal
power range
Reset/Select buttons
Buttons to set vehicle data
Press the "Select" button to see the par-
tial or total kilometres.
When viewing partial kilometres (TRIP),
it is possible to reset them by holding
down the "SELECT" button.
Total/partial kilometre counter
The total kilometre counter shows the to-
tal distance covered in kilometres,.
The partial kilometre counter ( TRIP)
shows the distance covered since the
last reset in kilometres.
The partial kilometre counter can be
used to estimate the possible distance to
cover with a full tank of fuel. With this in-
formation it is possible to schedule stops
for refuelling.
Speedometer
This shows the vehicle speed in Km/h
or mph. To pass from one to the other,
press the "SELECT" and "RESET" but-
tons together.
Digital clock
Shows the time in hours and minutes
Digital clock setting
Press and hold down the
"Reset" button for 5 seconds until the
reading begins to fl ash.
Adjust the hour by pressing the
"Select" button.
Press the "Reset" button to pass on to
adjust the minutes (tens and then units).
Adjust the minutes by pressing the
"Select" button.
Press the "RESET" button to quit
Coolant temperature gauge
Shows the temperature of the coolant in
°F (Fahrenheit) or °C (Celsius)
If the coolant temperature gauge begins
to fl ash, stop the vehicle and run it
at a minimum until the temperature of the
coolant drops-
If the temperature does not drop, switch
off the
engine.
