Functional Description

The FAA-500-BB Ceiling Mount Back Box is necessary for flush
ceiling installation in false ceilings when mounting 500 and 520
Series Bases and Fire Detectors.

Bore a 130 mm diameter opening (tolerance -1 mm to
+5 mm ) in the ceiling.
Insert the wires through the plugs in the box (4).
Insert the ceiling mount back box from the ceiling opening
from below.
On the front end ring of the back box is a pressed-in
triangular mark (1). Turn the back boxes to align the marks
in one direction. This allows parallel alignment of the
detectors oblong, middle windows for a harmonious total
optical impression.
Tighten the three bracket screws (2).
It is recommended that for usual, soft false ceilings, you do
not use a cordless screwdriver.
