Operation
5.1
Commissioning, operation
1. Connect the product to an easily accessible, preferably separately protected,
socket.
After connection, the device enters the self-test mode. The red LED flashes 6 times
while 6 beeps sound at the same time. The green POWER LED lights up continuo-
usly. When the alarm stops, the green POWER LED lights up and the unit is ready
for use. During normal operation, no operatig elements are to be operated.
2. Pay attention to the visual and audible warning signals described below.

Warning signals
The device has visual and audible warning signals which occur individually or in
combination, depending on the situation, as follows:

5.3
Fault alarm, defect
In case of improper operation or false alarm, the FAULT LED lights up.
1. Are the environmental conditions deviating from the optimum operating range,
or are chemicals other than the gases referred to herein, such as alcohol or acid
present in high concentration in the room, test the Tri-gas detector 230 V & 12 V
in another room.
2. If none of the above situations occur, disconnect the device from the power
supply and reconnect it.
If a false alarm continues to be output, have the device replaced

Test operation
The test operation ensures that the product is working after installation.
•
Disconnect the device from the mains for a few seconds and reconnect it.
•
Regularly test the device for function, e.g. Once a week.
•
To do this, hold a commercial lighter without igniting it near the sensor openings.
Test mode and alarm automatically end after a few seconds.

Description / Instructions
The RED ALARM LED flashes and a
loud WARNING TONE interval sounds:
The fuel gas concentration is in the critical
range. If this decreases again, the alarm
stops automatically.

The GREEN POWER LED lights up:
The device monitors the room air.
Tension is on.
The YELLOW FAULT LED is on and a
warning tone interval is being output simul-
taneously:
The device is not ready for operation.
The device does not monitor room air.

Material damage, false alarm
NOTICE
Gases and vapors from cleaning agents can lead to false alarms.
Detergents and chemicals can damage equipment.
► Use only a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
► Do not use detergents and chemicals.
► When not in use, store the product in a cool, dry, dust-protected place
out of the reach of children.
► Store the original packaging for transport.
► Regularly check the product for function by means of its test button or
by qualified electric / gas specialists.
► Remove the battery during mains operation and storage.

Disposal instructions
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment
must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or
disposed apart from each other. As a consumer, you are committed by law to
dispose electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting
points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right.
The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to these terms.
With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used devices you
achieve an important share to environmental protection.
