Scope of delivery

Tri-Gas Detector 230 V & 12 V, 230 V~ power supply, 12 V DC adapter, user manual,
warranty card, 2 dowels, 2 screws

Intended use

We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
"Description and function" and „Safety instructions". Not attending to these regulati-
ons and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons
and property.
3.1

Use restrictions

The product should not be installed in the following environments due to functionality:
explosive environments,
directly above a hob,
directly above a drain,
near an extractor hood,
outdoors
near doors and windows

Installation

Explosion, Electric shock!
WARNING
Drilling work can damage lines in wall mounting.
► Pay attention to lines lying in the wall that carry electricity, gas or
water and do not damage them!
► Install and dismount the open cable ends of 230 V~ power supply or
12 V DC adapter only if disconnected from the power supply!
Stumbling, Fall
CAUTION
Cables can be overlooked.
► Lay the power cable in such a way that it does not hinder anyone or
damage anything.
Select the mounting location in such a way that an easily accessible socket is
easily reached.
In general, choose the mounting location in such a way that other furniture or
device parts are not limited in their use and the laying of the power cable poses
no risk of accident
4.1

Connection

1. Depending on the purpose, select the 230 V~ power adapter or the 12 V DC
adapter.

2. Connect the 2 open cable ends of the selected voltage adapter to the 2 terminal
blocks on the back of the device by using a Phillips screwdriver.
Make sure that the cable connection is secure and that the rear of the device is pro-
tected against moisture and contact during installation and during operation
4.2

Assembly when using heavy gas

1. Drill 2 mounting holes with a distance of 45 mm at a suitable position shown
below.
2. Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
3. Screw the wall bracket into the dowels using the two screws.
4. Hang the device on the hook of the wall bracket.
4.3

Installation when using light gas

1. Drill 2 mounting holes with a distance of 45 mm at a suitable position shown
below.
2. Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
3. Screw the wall bracket into the dowels using the two screws.
4. Hang the device on the hook of the wall bracket.
