The appliance must be earthed in accordance with the law. Check that the earthing plant of
your electrical system is in perfect working condition and that the system complies with
current local standards.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility for any injury to people or damage to
property caused by non-compliance with the above regulations.
Avoid using adaptors or extension leads. If absolutely necessary, only use products which
conform to current safety standards and take care not to exceed the maximum current stated in
the product specifications. If the socket and the plug of the appliance are incompatible, replace
the plug with one of the correct type. This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel
who must make sure that the cross-section of the cables of the socket is suitable for the
absorbed power of the appliance and must implement all the safety inspections foreseen by
Standards in force.
The plug must be accessible after installation.
If the power cable is damaged, replace it with a new one with the same features available at
Vitrifrigo or an authorised service centre. Replacement must be performed by Vitrifrigo, an
authorised service centre or a person with a similar qualification who operates in a risk-
prevention way.
