Replacing the fuse
Fuses may only be replaced when the mains plug has been removed. The
replacement fuses must be the same type, have the same release rating and
the same nominal power (see "Technical data"). The use of "fi xed", repaired
fuses or bridging the fuse bracket is not permitted.
• Switch off the amplifi er and all the devices connected.
• Pull out the mains plug.
• Open the fuse holder (8) using a screwdriver.
• Replace the defective fuse with a new F1AL / 250 V (5 × 20 mm) fuse.
• Retighten the screws on the fuse holder (8).
Maintenance and care
Only qualifi ed experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant
regulations may perform repairs.
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are
removed. All attached appliances must be disconnected from the mains be-
fore servicing or repairs.
The device is maintenance free and must therefore never be opened. If you do open the device,
the warranty will be rendered invalid. Regularly check the technical safety of the product and the
connected devices, e.g. for damage to the connection cables and the housing.
If you have any reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect
it immediately and make sure it cannot be restarted accidentally. It can be assumed that safe
operation is no longer possible if:
- there is visible damage to the device or to the power line
- the device no longer functions
- it has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a prolonged period
- it has been exposed to high stresses during transport
