Troubleshooting
If the device is not working properly, please check fi rst of all whether you are able to rec-
tify a problem yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

When using the foot control: Is the foot control not connected to the
device correctly? Is it being used incorrectly?
Is the mains adapter not inserted in the plug socket correctly or is
its cable not connected to the device correctly? Is the plug socket
defective? Try another plug socket. Check the fuse of your mains
connection.
The upper/lower thread is not threaded correctly.
The upper/lower thread is entangled.
The upper thread tension is too high.
The spool of thread or bobbin has not been placed on correctly.
The needle is bent or blunt.
The combination of needle size / thread strength / fabric is not right.
