Notice!
The filter cartridge must be replaced three months after being used for
the first time. Instructions with the corresponding article number can be
found on the space for the SATA filter timer. When replacing the filter
cartridge, always use a new SATA filter timer.
■ Unscrew the cap for the filter cartridge [6-2].
■ Open the filter cartridge packaging.
■ Insert the filter cartridge [6-1].
■ Screw the cap for the filter cartridge on hand-tight.
8.5. Activate SATA filter timer

The SATA filter timer shows the remaining time [7-1].

Depending on which side the air regulator is being used, the space for
the SATA filter timer is on the right or left next to the hood holder.
■ Insert the SATA filter timer in the space provided [7-2].
■ Press the activation point [7-3]. A sound (clicking noise) confirms suc-
cessful activation.
8.6. Insert SATA air warmer carbon
Notice!
To warm the air, the SATA air warmer carbon can be fitted on the side
where the breathing protection hood is connected [2-9] as an option.
The cap and filter cap are then not needed.
■ Unscrew the cap for SATA air warmer carbon [8-1].
■ Remove the filter cap [8-2].
■ Push the regulating cap [8-3] onto the warmer module [8-4] and insert
both together into the air regulator. Pay attention to correct alignment to
the air regulator [8-5].
■ Place the control wheel [8-7] on the regulating cap. Pay attention to cor-
rect alignment to the regulating cap [8-8].
■ Screw the regulating screw plug [8-6] in hand-tight.
