Symptoms
• The iPod/iPhone does not turn on or does
not work.
• The sound is distorted.
• "NO IPOD" appears on the display.
• Playback stops.
• "NO FILES" appears on the display.
• "RESET 1" – "RESET 7" appears on the
display.
• "RESET 8" appears on the display.
• The iPod/iPhone's controls do not work
after disconnecting from this unit.
• The tagged PSD cannot be transferred to
the iPod/iPhone.
• "Tagged Playlist" is not shown on the
iTunes after synchronizing the iPod/iPhone
with PC.

Remedies/Causes
• Check the connecting cable and its connection.
• Update the firmware version of the iPod/iPhone.
• Charge the battery of the iPod/iPhone.
• Reset the iPod/iPhone.
• Check whether "IPOD SWITCH" setting is
appropriate (see page 31).
Deactivate the equalizer either on this unit or the
iPod/iPhone.
• Check the connecting cable and its connection.
• Charge the battery of the iPod/iPhone.
The headphones are disconnected during playback.
Restart the playback operation (see pages 21 to 23).
No tracks are stored. Import tracks to the iPod/iPhone.
Disconnect the adapter from both this unit and iPod.
Then, connect it again.
Check the connection between the adapter and this unit.
Reset the iPod/iPhone.
• The iPod/iPhone does not have enough memory.
• The iPod/iPhone connected to the unit is not
compatible with the iTunes Tagging function.
Update the version of your iTunes to the version 7.4 or
later.
