SPECIAL WARNINGS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT
1. Become familiar with the controls and the proper use of the equipment.
2. The use of this product by children is forbidden.
3. Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. This product is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by
a person responsible for their safety.
4. Always unplug the device from the mains before carrying out any work on it.
5. Be sure that the electric cable connecting the device to the mains and the extension cord have a
cross-section suitable for pump power.
Ensure that the electrical connections are far away from any water source.
6. When used for swimming pools, ponds and fountains, it is necessary to use an automatic RCD
protection with I∆n=30mA.
7. WARNING: when the pump stops, the pipes are under pressure, consequently we recommend
opening a tap to discharge the system before carrying out any work.
8. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after sales service or a
person with similar qualification in order to avoid any danger.
If the power cable or extension cord is damaged or cut during operation, immediately disconnect plug
from its main power source. Do not touch the cable or extension cord before unplugging from main
power.
IV. GETTING STARTED
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected from its power source.
4.1- Unpacking
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that product and accessories are not damage
4.2- Installation
Attention: before installing check that the technical specifications of the device, the pump and the
system are all compatible.
The pressure generated by the pump must be at least 1.5 bar greater than the restart pressure of the
device.
In the event of the height of the water column exceeding the level indicated, the pump will be enabled
without starting up. To overcome these problems, install the device at a higher level in order to recreate
the above-mentioned conditions.
The unit may be installed directly onto the pump or between the pump and the first device/tap.
If the input pressure of the unit exceeds 10 bar (1 MPa), install a pressure reducer between
the pump and the device itself.
No tap can be installed between the pump and the device
It is imperative to install the device with the flow direction arrows pointing upwards
It is recommended to install a ball valve and a manometer at the output of the device to control the
operation of the pump and the device excluding the system by means of the valve and checking the
effective extraction of the pump with the manometer.
It is also recommended to connect the output of the device to the system by means of a flexible tube
Before starting the device check that the pump is correctly primed.
