Visor adjustment (Fig. 3)
The visor mechanism is equipped with a visor clearance take-up system that ensures that
the visor is pulled down and effectively against the window trim. This is why the mecha-
nism's support has an upper and lower reference tooth. The helmet is delivered with a cor-
rectly adjusted system. When using the helmet, regularly check that the visor adheres per-
fectly and is in line with the lip trim of the window trim when it is pulled down all the way.
If this is not the case, proceed as follows:
3.1 Disassemble the visor (see section 1) and check in which position of the upper refer-
ence A1 and lower reference A2 teeth the mechanism is located.
3.2 Loosen the two screws B1 and B2 on the visor mechanism using a 2.5 mm Allen
screw wrench.
3.3 Lift the mechanism from its support and move it forward or backward according to the
adjustment to be made. Then lower the mechanism into its support so that upper A1
lower A2 adjustment teeth are in the same position.
3.4 Tighten both screws B1 and B2.
3.5 Repeat the same steps on the other side of the helmet.
3.6 Mount the visor (see section 2).
3.7 Check contact between the visor and the trim.
ATTENTION!!!
-
After each assembly or disassembly procedure of the different parts, check that the
visor mechanism works properly by pulling the visor up and down; if necessary, repeat
the steps described above.
-
Do not remove the visor pulling up/down mechanisms from the shell.
