Using the Side-entry Buckle
To fasten the side-entry buckle:

Holding the buckle handle parallel to your body, as shown, place it

in the holder B and slide it downward. As you slide the handle, it will
rotate away from your body. Keep sliding it downward until it locks into
position with an audible click.

Important: Check that the handle
properly in position by feeling for the handle tip

at the bottom of the holder, as shown.
If you can't feel the tip, push the handle downward
until you do.

To fasten the side-entry buckle:

With your right hand, press the handle release tab
down. With your left hand, lift the buckle handle
Twist the buckle handle
hear a click. Note: Twist until the handle tongue completely clears the
groove in the holder.

Using the Side-entry Buckle
Sit down before removing baby from carrier.
Release both head support buckles and fold
down top of head support.
With your left arm supporting baby, grasp
the side-entry buckle handle
left hand, as shown.
