• Compare the measurements with the data given in the table and select the appropriate
pair of adapters.
• Alternatively, the pair of connectors can also be selected by an accurate visual
comparison. The pairing of the connecting leads can be identified by the numbers
stamped in them (e.g. 64).
• Connect the selected pair of adapters to the vehicle and the control unit (2).

3. Test procedure

• Start the engine and allow to idle until the tester control unit has filled completely with
bubble-free fuel.
• Read off the pressure or vacuum on the vacuum gauge (1) and compare with the vehicle
manufacturer's data.
4. Removing the tester
• Disconnect the tester from the vehicle, catch any fuel which may escape and empty the
tester completely.
