Direction for use
Analog tester for fuel systems with quick-fit connectors as per SAE standard.
Suitable for petrol and Diesel fuels.
1. Safety instructions
The tester may only
be used by trained
personnel.
Safety precautions:
•
No naked flames or sources of fire.
•
Use exhaust gas extraction system.
•
Trap escaping fuel and dispose of in the technically correct manner.
•
With the engine running, follow the safety instructions laid down by the vehicle manufacturer.
2. Connection to the vehicle

Note:
Only SAE plugs and SAE quick-fit connectors of precisely the same diameter may be
connected to each other. Otherwise, this will lead to leaks and/or it will be impossible
to release the connection.
•
Connect the vacuum gauge (1) to the control unit (2).
•
Disconnect the SAE connection to the vehicle.
•
Measure the diameter and length of the plug to the locking point precisely (!),
see illustrations below.
