Note:
When the unit is switched on, all segments/LEDs briefly illuminate to allow the display to be checked. If this does not occur
(display remains dark, LEDs do not illuminate): Check the fuses on the rear side of the unit. If one or more LEDs illuminate
red: Return the unit to the factory.
3. Test procedure
Hydraulic connections
The HPGD 1000 must be set up securely at the test station.
The HPGD 1000 is to be connected to the hydraulic system according to the specifications of the hydraulic system manufacturer (9, 10).
Open the adjusting dial (11) all the way by turning anticlockwise.
Electrical connections
Connect the HPGD 1000 to the vehicle battery (ensure correct polarity). Plug sensors (5, 6, 7) into the display in any order (sensors
are detected automatically). Switch on the device.
Measurement
The measurement begins when the hydraulic system reaches the operating temperature of 50 °C.
By turning the adjusting dial clockwise, load can be achieved by reducing the flow cross-section.
If the maximum pressure is exceeded, the safety valve opens and releases a bypass.
4. Maintenance and care
The device is maintenance-free. Clean with a lint-free cloth.
Store the device in a clean and dry environment.
Keep the device out of reach of unauthorized persons.
5. Disposal
The old device must not be disposed of with normal household waste.
The device must be disposed of in accordance with national regulations (e.g., ElektroG in Germany).
