After cutting – bring the motor unit back
and switch off the tool.
JOINING THE WORKPIECES
1.
When both workpieces are ready they can
be joined together.
2.
Apply glue in both slots.
3.
Place the jointing biscuit in the slot in one
workpiece.
4.
Place the other workpiece on the jointing
biscuit.
5.
Put the workpieces in a press until the
glue has dried.
CHECKING THE CUTTING DEPTH
NOTE:
Always check the cutting depth after
replacing a blade.
1.
Switch off the tool, unplug the power
cord, and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped.
2.
Move the motor unit (14) as far back as
possible.
3.
Adjust to the maximum cutting depth
with the knob (6).
4.
Move the motor unit forward and check
that the pin goes in the slot in the
adjusting knob (6).
5.
Turn the blade so that one tooth points
straight forward.
6.
Measure the distance between the tooth
and the side of the base plate.
7.
The gap must not be more than 18 mm.
ADJUSTING THE BIT DEPTH
The cutting depth can be adjusted as follows,
if necessary.
1.
Move the motor unit (14) as far back as
possible.

2.
Pull out the pin.
3.
Adjust the cutting depth by turning the
screw behind the pin.
4.
Repeat until the correct cutting depth is
obtained.
5.
Replace the cotter.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Switch off the tool, unplug the power
cord and wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before cleaning and/or
maintenance.
CLEANING
Keep the ventilation openings on the tool
clean to prevent the motor overheating.
Clean the tool regularly with a soft cloth,
preferably every time it has been used.
Keep the ventilation openings free from
dust and dirt.
If the dirt is difficult to remove, use a soft
cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol,
or ammonia solution, etc. This can
damage the plastic parts.
STORAGE
Clean the tool and accessories well every
time they have been used.
Store the tool out of the reach of children,
in a stable and safe position, cool and dry.
Avoid extreme temperatures.
Protect the tool from direct sunlight.
If possible, store the tool in the dark.
Do not store the tool in a plastic bag,
this can cause moisture to collect.
