– Carry out electrical installation to the plug connections
provided in the rear side of the control panel, following
the instructions for the SP 1.1 and SP 1.2 control panels
– Lay cables in the conduit in the rear boiler insulation
panel.
– Replace upper boiler insulation panel and push into

8.3 Boiler door adjustment
(F 110/3 - 4.1 NT only)
There are screws to the left and right bottom side of the
boiler door which permit adjustment of the door after boiler
installation.
8.4 Fitting noise insulation

8.5 Changing re-circulation tube
The re-circulation tube is made of heat-resistant stainless
steel and is likely to need changing only after several years.
Disconnect the unit at the main switch before changing the
re-circulation tube, remove boiler door and open burner
door. A re-circulation tube fixing flange is attached to the
burner door. Twist the re-circulation tube to the left until
detached and then remove. Install the new tube by twisting
to the right until attached.

9. Setting up for operation to begin
Installation and servicing must be carried out by a qualified
technician, who takes responsibility both for installation
and for putting the unit into operation.
After the boiler has been installed, the technician should
train the user in the correct operation of the boiler, along
with the safety measures in force, and hand over the
operating instructions.
a) Fill heating system to required water level or pressure
and bleed air from system. With open units complying
with DIN 4751, part 1, and total water hardness of more
than 15° dH, it is advisable to add mixed products or
complex-forming agents several times. The correspon -
ding operation regulations are to be observed.
b) Open oil or gas shut-off valve.
c) Operate main switch.
d) Set boiler temperature control to required level. Set
boiler temperature control to maximum if rapidomatic
heat regulator is fitted.
e) Set "auto/man/TÜV" switch to
auto: if a rapidomatic S, 2 SM, 3 SM, Z 2.3 SM, Z 3.3 SM
heat regulator is in operation.
man: if running without rapidomatic heat circuit control,
with incorrect working of control or when running
exclusively with RTU room dial thermostat.
TÜV: switch setting used for safety temperature limiter test
