Turn "ON" the operating switch, and the

operating lamp will light and the heater will
ignite in about 10 seconds.
3 Make sure the flame is ignited.
If the flame did not ignite
Switch the operating switch "OFF" once
and wait until the blower fan stops. After the
operation lamp goes out, switch the operat-
ing switch to its "ON" position.
■ Adjustments
★ Adjusting the Angle of the Hot Air Outlet
Use the following procedure to adjust the angle of the hot air outlet.

Using the vent angle lever, the direction of the
airflow can be adjusted up or down by 23°.
■ Shut-Down Operation
CAUTION

• When the heater is operating, make sure the floor's temperature does not get too hot.
High temperatures can result in fire.
• Adjust the angle of the hot air outlet after the heater has cooled down, to avoid severe
and electric shock.
Vent Angle Lever
• After the operation is shut down, make sure that the flame is completely extinguished
before leaving the place.
• Never unplug the power cord to extinguish the heater. Doing so can result in fire.
• Never shut down the heater soon after ignition. Doing so can produce a loud sound
when the flame extinguishes. Doing so will also produce soot, which can result in dam-
age. The heater should be operating for at least 10 minutes before the shut down proce-
dure is carried out.
