Connection
There are two different connection options for Lynx TX-1. One type of connection
is for the telephone (via a modular switch) and the other is the connection of a signal
cable to the signal source (via a connection block).
Lynx TX-1 and telephone
The accessories supplied are a cable with
modular switches and an intermediate
plug.
1. Connect the cable to the modular
switches between Lynx TX-1 and the
intermediate plug.
2. Insert the intermediate plug in the
telephone socket.
3. Then connect the telephone plug to
the intermediate plug.
Lynx TX-1 and other equipment
Other types of signal sources can be con-
nected via the three connection blocks
under the cover. Use the cable supplied
for connection.
If your signal source is a short-circuiting
signal (eg doorbell) it is connected via
connection blocks 2 and 3.
Equipment which supplies a voltage
when it is activated can also be connec-
ted. It is connected between connection
blocks 1 and 2. The voltage activating
Lynx TX-1 must be between 0.7-24 V,
either alternating current or DC voltage.
