Universal transmitter for the Lynx system
Lynx TX-1 forms part of Lynx – our wireless alert system for people with impaired
hearing. The Lynx uses various transmitters and receivers that alert you to noises such
as a ringing telephone or doorbell, or the first signs of a fire.
Lynx TX-1 is a universal transmitter that can detect and transmit many different ty-
pes of signals such as a telephone signal, doorbell, fire alarm, activated photocells and
activated magnetic switches. Signals are sent wirelessly to the receiver. One or more
repeaters may also be installed in order to amplify the alarm signal and thus extend
its range.
