4.
Turn the product on by switching the power switch (1) to position I = ON. The display is now
activated.
5.
To turn the product off, switch the power switch (1) to position 0 = OFF.
6.
If you will not be using the product for a longer period of time, unplug the mains plug.
c)
Setting current limiting
1.
Using the control for output voltage (4), set the output voltage to 3 V.
2.
Press the Output button (6). The display icon must show OFF
3.
Short the + and – terminals using a suitable wire.
4.
Press the Output button (6). The display icon must show ON
5.
Set the required current threshold on the control for current limiting (5).
6.
Press the Output button (6). The display icon must show OFF
7.
Remove the connection from the + and - terminals.
8.
The required current threshold is now set.
d)
Setting of required output voltage (cV)
The power supply unit has an adjustable current limitation. It becomes
active (displaying cc) when the preset current limitation is exceeded due to
overloading or a short circuit. It electronically reduces the output voltage to
avoid damage to the power supply unit.
1.
The display icon must show ON
2.
Set the required voltage using the control for output voltage (4).
3.
Press the Output button (6). The display icon must show OFF
4.
Connect the load.
5.
Press the Output button (6). The display icon must show ON
6.
If the display shows CC, the current threshold is too low or the load requires more voltage
/ current.
7.
Adjust the setting until the display icon CV is shown.
chANGING ThE fUSE
If it is no longer possible to switch on the power unit, the mains fuse is probably defective.
Proceed as follows to replace the mains fuse:
1.
Turn off the power supply unit and remove
all connecting cables from the unit. Pull the
mains plug from the rear connection.
2.
Remove the rear fuse holder with a suitable
screwdriver from the bracket.
3.
Replace the defective fuse with a new fine-
wire fuse of the same type and rated current:
T2 A 250 V.
4.
Replace the fuse carefully into the fuse
holder.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
