ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR

Never attempt to saw extremely small workpieces.
_
While sawing, never place your fingers where they
could touch the saw band in case the workpiece
were to move unexpectedly.
_
Make sure that the saw band has the correct
tension.
_
Make sure that the saw band is mounted with the
teeth pointing down to avoid that the workpiece is
lifted unexpectedly.
_
Do not use the machine before it has been
assembled and installed in accordance with the
instructions.
_
Do not perform any designing, mounting or
assembling activities on the workbench while the
machine is switched on.
_
Switch off the machine and clean the saw table
before you leave the machine unattended.

Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the

straight, circular, mitre and bevel cuts in wood,
plastics and leather.

Mounting the machine (fig. A)
The machine must be screwed to a workbench.
_
Mark the position of the mounting holes (2) on the
workbench.
_
Drill holes at each of the marked positions,
adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the
screws used.
_
Place the machine on the workbench and insert
the screws into the mounting holes.
_
Firmly tighten the screws.
Saw band protection (fig. A, B & C)
The saw band protection can be removed
temporarily to adjust the sawing angle and the saw
band guides.
_
Remove the saw band protection (5 & 6) as
described below.
_
Replace the saw band protection as soon as
adjustment has been performed.
To remove the upper saw band protection (5),
proceed as follows:
_
Loosen the screw (13) and open the cover (7).
_
Move the saw band protection to its lowest
position using the height adjuster (11).
_
Loosen the screws (17) and remove the
protection.
To remove the lower saw band protection (6),
proceed as follows:
_
Loosen the screw (14) and open the cover (8).
_
Loosen the screws (18) and remove the
protection.
Never use the saw without saw
band protection.
Make sure the saw band protection
screens as much of the saw band
Mounting the protractor (fig. D)

Place the protractor (20) on the mounting point
(23).
Make sure that the slot (21) aligns with the hole (22)
in the mounting point.
_
Pass the threaded end of the clamping plate (24)
through the slot of the protractor and the hole in the
mounting point.
_
Fit the knob (19) onto the screw thread.

_
Slide the saw band (4) into the slot (25) and place
the table top (3) on the protractor. Make sure that
the holes (26) in the table top align with the holes
(27) in the protractor (20).
