Malfunction / Message
Printout unreadable
Green pilot lamp does not light up
Green pilot lamp flashes slowly
Changing paper
• Insertion of a new roll of paper is described on page 4.
Order number for paper, see page 7.
Replacing the ribbon
• Pull paper out of printing unit (1).
• Remove ribbon cover (2, 3, 4).
• To remove ribbon cartridge, press in direction of arrow (5).
• Insert new ribbon and if need be, take up slack with tensioning wheel (6).
• Refit ribbon cover.
• Insert paper and feed through slit in the printing unit as far as it will go.
• Press and hold
Possible cause
• Ribbon worn / entangled
• Service life of printing unit at an end
• No power, fuse defective
• Balance waiting for stability /
no communication with attached instrument

Rectification
• Change / tension ribbon
