3. Repairs

Repairs should only be performed by specialists using
EN
original spare parts. Repairs carried out by the user can
pose a risk and will cancel the warranty.

IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS

Important The following safety regulations are aimed at preventing unexpected
dangers through safe and correct use of the product.
Warning: Not following the instructions can cause death or serious injuries.
Second Warning: Not following the instructions can cause serious injuries or
material damages.
After having read the instructions, keep them in a safe place that is accessible to everyone
concerned.
Warning Do not modify or take apart
Never take the product or battery apart, or modify them, unless you are an authorized repair
technician (doing so could cause a fire or malfunction).
Placing the electric power cord
Make sure that the electric power cord is not being squeezed by a heavy object and that it
is not in contact with anything with sharp edged (this could cause a fire or an electric shock).
Do not touch the recharge terminals
Do not touch the recharge terminals located on the charge base and on the main body of
the appliance. Place any metallic objects (metal rods, scissors, etc.) away from the recharge
terminals (not doing so could cause an electric shock or a malfunction).
Load the robot only
Never use the battery, the adapter or the charge base for any product other than the
ROWENTA robot (doing so could cause a fire or malfunction).
No strange elements
Do not put any kind of liquid, knife blade, thumbtack, etc. into the adapter, the charge base
or the main body of the robot (doing so could damage the robot).
Do not use the appliance in dangerous places
Do not use the robot on a wet floor or near dangerous or fragile objects such as a candle
or a glass cup (doing so could cause a fire or damage the robot).
Emergency shutdown
If the product produces a strange sound or smell, or smoke, turn the main switch off
immediately (in order to avoid the risk of a fire or damage to the robot).
Do not place flammable materials close to the robot
Do not place flammable materials such as gasoline, thinners, etc., or strong chemical agents
such as detergents, bathroom products, drinks, etc. near the main body of the robot (doing
so could cause a fire or damage the robot).
