Electric cord placement
Place the cord along the wall.
Using the charge base
1. Leave the charge base cord plugged in permanently (the automatic charge
function will not be available if the charge base is not ON).
2. Install the charge base in a place where the robot will be able to find it easily (if it
is installed in a corner, or where it is difficult to find, the ROWENTA robot will not
be able to reach it).
Switching the ROWENTA robot on and off (Main switch)(3a)
Turn the main body around and check that the main switch is ON
If the switch is OFF, turn it ON.
Using the main power switch
1. When you first receive the product, the main power switch is OFF.
2. Whenever the main power switch is turned OFF, all functions are rebooted.
3. Whenever the main power switch is turned OFF, all functions including those of
the remote control are deactivated. Therefore, it is better to leave it ON, except in
some particular cases (please refer to Safety Precautions).
4. The robot can be charged even if the main power switch is OFF.
5. Whenever the main power switch is lit, if the robot is not used within 10 minutes
it will go into energy-saving mode.
Turning ON the appliance
Turning the appliance on by remote control (4)
Press the <POWER> button (4a) on the remote control
Turning the appliance on from the main body
Press the < START/STOP > button (1a) on the main body
Turning off the appliance
Turning the appliance off by remote control
Press the <POWER> button on the remote control.
The robot will stop and go into energy-saving mode.
Turning the appliance off from the main body
Press the <START/STOP> button on the main body for at least one second.
The robot will stop and go into energy-saving mode.
