Introduction
These instructions will help you to become familiar
with your machine and to operate it correctly. Please
read our instructions before you operate the ma-
chine.
The right to make technical changes is re-
served.
Spare parts and service
Repairs must only be carried out by a trained tech-
nician.
Type plate
The type and the serial number of your machine
may be found on its type plate. This information will
be required for ordering spare parts. Please make a
note of them in the space below so that they will
always be available when required!

Unpacking the machine
You should examine both the shipping carton and
the machine as soon as it has arrived. If you find
any damage, retain the packaging so that it can, if
necessary, be examined by the carrier. Contact the
carrier immediately and report the damage.
Safety instructions and warnings
Symbols indicate possible hazards. Please read this
information carefully, and take the appropriate steps
to protect both persons and property.
Danger!
This symbol is used to indicate an
immediate danger that could be in-
jurious or fatal to the user.
Warning!
This symbol is used to warn of a situa-
tion that could be injurious to the user.
Caution!
This symbol is used to draw attention to
situations in which light injury to the
user or damage to the machine could
occur.
Ear protection!
High operating noise level. Always wear
ear protection.
Certain fundamental safety rules must be observed
when using the machines.
Read all the safety instructions and warring notes
before you operate the machine.
Caution!
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:

This machine is only to be used together with
accessories supplied by the manufacturer for
smoothing:

fresh concrete and screed surfaces

Use the machine exclusively:

for appropriate operations

The machine is not suitable for use:

in areas of explosive hazard

on inflammable materials

This machine may only be used by:

When using the machine, pay attention to other
persons, and in particular to children.

The operator must ensure that no unauthorised
persons work with the machine.

Always check the operational safety of the
machine before using it.

The operator is obliged to check the machine
after use for externally visible damage or faults.
Modifications that affect safety are to be re-
ported to our service department.
9.
The operator or the owner of the machine must
ensure that the machine is only ever used when
it is in technically perfect condition.
10. No safety devices must ever be removed, modi-
fied or deactivated.
11. Do not touch any rotating parts when the engine
is running and when working.
12. The manufacturer's liability will lapse with any
unauthorised modification or change to the ma-
chine.
Danger!
13. Always wear a safety helmet, safety gloves,
safety goggles, ear protectors and safety shoes
when working with the machine.
14. Do not start the machine by bypassing electrical
circuits.
15. Only persons who are familiar with the machine
and who have been instructed in the possible
hazards may operate, service or repair it.
16. Remove all jewellery when working close to
electrical components.
17. Only use original replacement and accessory
parts. No liability is accepted for similar parts
from other manufacturers.
