OPERATION
PREPARING THE UNIT
Unpacking and completing the assembly should be
done on a flat and stable surface, with enough space
for moving the machine and its packaging, always
making use of suitable equipment.
WARNING
Always unplug your machine from power source before
any adjustment.
To assemble the machine:
Leveling knob
Insert the front leveling knob (Fig. 2.1) in position and
adjust by screwing it accordingly in order to level the
saw on the working surface. Once leveled, secure by
tightening the nut (Fig. 2.2).

Extension wings
Loosen the screw (Fig. 3.2) then slide the extension
wing (Fig. 3.1) to desired position and tighten the
screw.
Working clamp
1. Place the working clamp assembly in the mount-
ing hole (Fig. 4.1).
2. The height of the clamp assembly can be adjusted
by loosening knob (Fig. 4.2).
Dust bag
1. Squeeze the metal collar wings (Fig. 5.1) on the
dust bag.
2. Place the dust bag neck opening around the ex-
haust port (Fig. 5.2) and release the metal collar
wings.
WARNING
Do not use the dust bag when machining metals.
The hot chips or sparks may ignite saw dust or the
bag itself. Clean and remove sawdust from under
the saw frequently.
Release cutting head
1. Push down slightly on the switch handle (Fig. 6.1).
2. Pull out the stop latch (Fig. 6.2).
3. Allow the cutting head to rise to the up position
(Fig 7).
WARNING
To avoid injury and damage to the saw, transport
or store the miter saw with the cutting head
locked in the down position using the stop latch
(Fig 8, 9). Never use the stop latch to hold the
cutting head in a down position for cutting oper-
ations.
Lock button
To prevent the switch trigger (Fig. 10.1) from being
accidentally pulled, a lower blade guard lock button
(Fig. 10.2) is provided. To start the tool, pull the lock
button against blade guard and press the switch
trigger. Release the switch trigger and lock button
to stop.
WARNING
Before plugging in the tool, always check to see that
the switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the "OFF" position when released. Do not press the
switch trigger hard without pulling in the lock but-
ton, as this can cause switch breakage. Operating a
tool with a switch that does not actuate properly can
lead to loss of control and serious personal injury.
Single-phase motor
The installed electric motor is completely wired
ready for operation. The customer's connection to
the power supply system, and any extension cables
that may be used, must conform with local regula-
tions. Check electrical connection cables regularly
for damage. Make sure the cable is disconnected
from the mains when checking. The mains voltage
must coincide with the voltage specified on the mo-
tor's rating plate. The connection to the mains must
be protected with an appropriate slow acting fuse
and only a socket with the properly installed ground
contact must be used.
