Attaching the blade set
Switch the appliance off.
First position the lower lugs in
the recesses in the trimmer,
then press the blade set home
while swivelling it upwards. Do
not use force. You must hear the
blade set click firmly into place.
Cleaning the appliance
Clean your appliance occasionally with a damp cloth,
then wipe it dry.
Cleaning the charging contacts
If the charging contacts 2 on the appliance or the charg-
ing contacts 7 on the charging unit are dirty, charging
may not be possible or may be interrupted.
Clean the contacts using a cloth or wad of cotton
wool soaked in alcohol or spirit.
6. Changing the rechargeable
battery
If the capacity of the rechargeable battery starts to fall
off, you can order a new one from Aesculap Customer
Service and insert it instead of the old one.
Use only the original Aesculap rechargeable battery
which you can order from Aesculap Customer Service.
When disposing of the old battery, be sure to observe the
disposal regulations (see "Disposal" on page 23).
The power cord 11 must never be
plugged into the trimmer when
you are changing the
WARNING
rechargeable battery.
Unscrew the screw A next to the
socket 1 on the bottom of the
trimmer.
