Replacing the Batteries:

A
A. Hold black control box firmly against the wall.
B. Grasp the gray battery box by its sides and pull apart from the control box as shown.
C. Move the catch up and remove batteries from battery box. Dispose of batteries properly.
D. Insert new "D" cell batteries as shown on the back of the battery box. Reinstall battery
box to control box. See page 10 for more instructions.

A. Turn water off by rotating handle down. Remove both retaining clips (1). Detach the
spout hose (2) from the solenoid valve (3) and the solenoid valve from the nipple (4).
B. Connect the spout hose (2) directly to the nipple (4) and secure with one of the
retaining clips (1).
Cleaning the Filter:

Remove clip (1). Pull solenoid valve (2) down until it detaches from the valve body. With a pair of
tweezers or needle nose pliers, remove filter (3) as shown. Clean and replace as shown with the
open side of the filter facing down.
