CONNECTING YOUR NEW WAREWASHER-continued
DRAIN
F-14: This warewasher drains by gravity and is NOT equipped with a built-in drain pump. It has been
designed to be a counter-top unit. This washer must be placed in a location where the base of the
machine is higher than the level of the drainpipe. Connect the rubber end of the 27mm ID flexible drain
hose (supplied) to the water outlet at the back of the warewasher and pass the other end through the
side panel and connect to the drain. Tighten both ends with hose clamps.
NOTE: The length of hose should be sufficient to permit the unit to be pulled out for service.
F-18DP: This warewasher is equipped with a built-in drain pump that will pump the drain water out of
the machine to a maximum height of one meter. Connect the rubber end of the 27mm ID flexible drain
hose (supplied) to the water outlet at the back of the warewasher and the other end to the drain. It is
important not to reduce the size of this hose. Tighten both ends with hose clamps.
A check-valve (not supplied) may be required.
NOTE: The length of hose should be sufficient to permit the unit to be pulled out for service.
IMPORTANT NOTE: F-14 & F-18DP

Reasonable access to and around the machine must be provided for service.
· Disconnecting of hard plumbing or removal of counter tops or cabinets, etc. for
servicing is not covered by warranty.
· DO NOT fill the warewasher with water manually. The unit should fill automatically
when the power is turned on.
· It is important to reinstall all body panels that were removed during installation.
