CONNECTING YOUR NEW WAREWASHER
This warewasher must be installed on a level, rigid, non flammable surface. Four adjustable feet
must be installed to level the unit. They are located in the warewasher rack, with the fill and drain
hoses.
NOTE: Be sure to provide a minimum of 1.5 cm clearance on top and both sides of unit.
NOTE: Be sure to provide adequate space for water, drain & electrical connections.
ELECTRICAL
F-14: A 220 V AC, 50 Hz, Single Phase circuit is required for this unit. This unit draws a maximum
of 7 amperes. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this warewasher be provided.
The rear panel must be removed for the electrical hook-up, which is secured by six
Phillips head screws. Pass the electrical cord (attached) through the opening on either
side of the machine and make the electrical connection to the power source. The back
panel must be reinstalled after the Water Supply & Drain connections are made.
NOTE: There should be sufficient cable length to permit the unit to be pulled out for
service.
F-18DP: A 220 V AC, 50 Hz, Single Phase circuit is required for this unit. This unit draws
a maximum of 25 amperes. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this
warewasher be provided.
The top & back panels must be removed for the electrical hook-up. Remove the two Phillips
screws from the top panel; slide the panel slightly to the rear and lift it off the machine. Remove the
two Phillips screws from the back panel; pull the bottom portion away from the machine and lift the
panel off, revealing the terminal block. Pass the electrical cable through the Cable Strain Relief
and connect the wires to the terminals: L (brown wire), N (blue wire) & Ground (yellow & green
wire). Replace the back & top panels being careful not to pinch or kink any wires or hoses.
NOTE: There should be sufficient cable length to permit the unit to be pulled out for service.
WATER SUPPLY
A 60ºC hot water supply is required. An easily accessible shut-off valve is recommended,
with a DIAM.3/4 GAS fitting. Incoming water flow pressure should be 1.05-3.0 BAR. Higher
water pressure requires the use of a Pressure Regulator Valve (not supplied) set at 1.75
BAR.
F-14: Connect the 90º elbow end of flexible fill hose (supplied) to the water inlet valve of the
warewasher. Pass the straight end of the hose through the side panel and to the shut-off
valve.
F-18DP: Connect the 90º elbow end of flexible fill hose (supplied) to the water inlet valve of
the warewasher and the straight end of the hose to the shut-off valve.
NOTE: If a PRV is required, it must be connected between the warewasher and the shut-off valve.
NOTE: The length of hose should be sufficient to permit the unit to be pulled out for service.
NOTE: Locations with hard water, calcium or minerals in the water will require a water filtration
system and/or a water softener. Please contact your field consultant for local requirements.
NOTE: INSTALLATIONS IN THE U.K. ONLY
Due to existing water regulations (WRAS), Model F-18DP's require a built-in break tank.
