SYMPTOMS
Checklight 1 does
not light up when the
power supply unit is
connected.
No light coming
The checklight 3 does
through the

TROUBLE SHOOTING.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
No power.
The switch is OFF.
Circuit breaker and
transformer are OFF.
Check the Spark-gap.
Fuse blown out.
Bad contact. Harting plug
power supply / Head.
Side trapdoors are not
closed.
Lamp is badly mounted.
Ignition failure.
(igniter, Spark-gap).
Colour changer unit
closed.
Iris cassette closed.
Mirrors and lenses not
in right condition or
not in place.
fan is not working.
(Note: The fan doesn't work until the lamp and checklight 3 are ON.)
- No HT* gel inserted.
- Infra-Red lter not engaged.
(*) Place the darker colours in front. HT = High temperature resistance

SOLUTIONS
Check the mains and
cable connections +
electrical diagram,
refer to pages A - 5 & C - 23.
Repeat the operation,
refer to page A - 7.
Turn ON the circuit
breakers, refer to page A - 7.
Refer to page B - 1.
Change the fuse 5 .
Refer to page A - 5
Check the connections,
refer to page A - 5.
Make sure the doors are
properly closed. Adjust the
position of the mini-circuit
breaker.

Open colour unit at the

Check iris blades are open
when turning the handle.
