E1 or E1 message Error with the E1 = Upper plate error
cooking plates E2 = Lower plate error
E1 & E2 = Upper and lower plates error
Turn the appliance off and wait for it to
cool down. Unplug the appliance and
make sure plates are correctly inserted.
Then turn unit back on and check
display. If the error messages still
appear call customer service.
