"DAt" date and time setting
This menu item corresponds to the date and time setting, as in the "Commissioning" chapter "b) Setting the
date and time".
After pressing the confirmation button (B8) on the minute display, the menu returns to the "dAt" display.
"DSt" summer and winter time setting
The summer and winter time can be set automatically. However, this function is disabled by default.
When you press the confirmation button (B8), the display shows "OFF" (automatic setting disabled). To
enable the automatic setting, turn the rotary knob (B10) until "On" appears on the display. To save, press
the confirmation button (B8).
"AEr" window mode
If the room temperature drops quickly (by 5 °C within 5 minutes), the thermostat detects that a window has
been opened. The function is disabled by default.
• Enter the menu item and select the temperature value (range from 0.5 °C to 29.5 °C) to which the tempe-
rature should be lowered (15 °C by default). To save, press the confirmation button (B8).
• Now select the time in minutes (0 to 60) that the thermostat waits until the temperature lowering ends
automatically. The function is disabled at 0 minutes (00:00 display). To save, press the confirmation button
(B8).
"tOF" offset temperature setting
You may need to increase or decrease the heat output depending on the position of the radiator thermostat
and other local conditions in order to achieve the desired room temperature.
For this reason, a specific offset can be set.
• Enter the menu item and select the offset temperature (range from -5.5 °C to 5.5 °C). To save, press the
confirmation button (B8).
"RES" reset to the factory settings
• After pressing the confirmation button (B8), "COnF" appears on the display.
• To reset the device to the factory settings, press the confirmation button (B8). This will erase all settings
and the default values will be loaded. If you do not press the button within approx. 3 seconds, the reset is
cancelled and the display shows "rES" again.
"POS" valve position display
Displays the valve position in percent. The smaller the value, the less the valve is open. To exit the menu
item, press the confirmation button (B8).
c) Additional functions
Fast heating function
When you activate the function, the heating valve is opened to 80% for 15 minutes to enable faster heating
of the room.
When the function is active, the window mode is disabled.
• To activate the function, press the confirmation button (B8).
• The display shows a backwards running countdown "b900" (900 seconds = 15 minutes).
• After 15 minutes the device will return to the previous mode.
• To disable the function ahead of time, press the confirmation button (B8) again.
Setting the comfort/energy saving temperature
The comfort and energy saving temperature can only be used in manual mode. By default, the comfort
temperature is 21 °C and the energy saving temperature is 17 °C.
• To toggle between the comfort and energy saving temperature, press the "Comfort/energy saving" button
(B9).
• Use the rotary knob (B10) to set the desired temperature.
• To save, press the confirmation button (B8).
The comfort and energy saving temperatures can be maintained even in automatic mode by briefly pressing
the "Comfort/energy saving" button (B9).
Use the next switching point (temperature change) to switch back to the automatic programme.
Heating pause (energy saving mode)
To save energy, you can use the thermostat e.g. switch to the heating pause mode in summer. The radiator
valve is fully open.
• To activate the function in manual mode, move the rotary knob (B10) to the right until "On" appears on
the display.
• To exit, move the rotary knob (B10) to the right again.
The limescale protection function still remains active.
Frost protection function
When the temperature falls below 0 °C, the radiator thermostat opens the radiator valve until the temperature
rises above +5 °C again. This prevents the water in the radiator from freezing.
• To activate the function in manual mode, move the rotary knob (B10) to the left until "OFF" appears on
the display.
• To exit, move the rotary knob (B10) to the right again.
The limescale protection function still remains active.
Child safety lock
The controls can be locked to ensure protection against unintentional changes to the radiator thermostat
settings (e.g. by children).
To enable or disable the child safety lock, briefly press and hold down the "Menu (B7)" and "Comfort/energy
saving (B9)" buttons at the same time.
When the child safety lock is enabled, "LOC" appears on the display.
Limescale protection function
In order to prevent the radiator valve from scale build-up, it is automatically opened and closed completely
every Saturday at 00:00 if no switching function has taken place within a week.
