6.2 PRIOR TO STARTING UP

6.2.1 MOUNTING THE POLISHING PLATE

Make sure that the plug has been removed from the power socket. Place the polishing plate (Position 8 in the
overview) onto the threaded spindle (Position 6 in the overview) of the polishing machine. Figure 2. Screw the
threaded bush of the polishing plate clockwise onto the threaded spindle. Press the spindle lock (Position 2 in the
overview) into position and tighten the polishing plate Figure 3.

6.2.2 INSTALLING THE HANDLE

Make sure that the plug has been removed from the power socket. Fit the
handle onto the gear housing and insert the Allen screws into the threaded
holes (Position 6 in the overview), Figure 4. Align the handle correctly and
then tighten the screws.
