Warning: the maximum permitted tilt is 30° for short-
distance transport and must be lower than 45° for manual
transport.
After a transport operation carried out in tilted position, wait at least one
hour after the unit has been permanently positioned before starting it.
Warning: heat pump cover cannot withstand significant stresses
and it cannot thus be used for transport.
Upon receiving the unit, please check all its parts in order to make sure
that the transport has not caused any damage; in case of damage, notify
the carrier, specifying the damage type.
In case of prolonged storage, keep the machine protected against dust
and away from vibration and heat sources.
Product storage temperature must range between -20 and +70°C
The Manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage due to incorrect
unloading or to the lack of protections against atmospheric agents.

Standards
Directive 2014/68/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 29 May 1997 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States
concerning pressure equipment.
UNI EN 1717:2002 - Protection against pollution of potable water in water
installations and general requirements of devices to prevent pollution by
backflow.
2006/42/EC Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council of
17 May 2006 on machines and subsequent amendments and additions
(Legislative Decree 17/2010).
2014/30/EC EMC Directive on Electromagnetic Compatibility.
2014/35/EC LVD Directive on Low-Voltage electrical equipment.
2011/65/EU RoHs 2 Directive on the restriction of hazardous substances
in electrical and electronic equipment.
2012/19/EU WEEE Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
3. Boiler
The boiler supplied with the product is designed and manufactured to
produce and store domestic hot water by means of the heat exchange
obtained using extractable, fixed or external heat exchangers powered
by different types of thermal energy sources (Heat generator, Heat pump,
Solar panel) that use water as heat transfer fluid. Any use of the product
other than the one stated in this document relieves the manufacturer of
any liability and will void any warranty.
The products discussed in this document have been manufactured in
compliance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) on pressure equipment
concerning the fluid used and the relevant operating conditions.
3.1 Category identification of the boiler (Directive 2014/68/EU)
The boiler supplied with the product has lower values than the threshold
values shown below:
• Container for water (group 2) having a vapour pressure value (at
the maximum allowable temperature) which is 0.5 bar lower than
the normal atmospheric pressure (1013 mbar), maximum working
pressure PS > 10 bar, product PSxV > 10,000 [bar x L], PS > 1000 bar;
• Water pipes (group 2) with vapour pressure at the maximum
allowable temperature lower than 0.5 bar in addition to/above normal
atmospheric pressure (1013 mbar), maximum working pressure PS >
10 bar, diameter DN > 200 and product PS x DN < 5000 [bar x mm].
Therefore the above mentioned boiler, as stated in Art. 4.3 and Annex II
Tables 4 and 9, must not be CE marked. As stated in this Directive, the
correct manufacturing process (according to the company Environment &
Quality System UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 – UNI EN 14001:2004), ensuring
safe use, and the manufacturer's identification are guaranteed by the
manufacturer.
4. Heat pump
The heat pump is a machine designed and manufactured
exclusively for the production of domestic hot water for
civil environments and it is not compatible with toxic and
flammable gases. Therefore it is strictly forbidden to use it in rooms
where the air is mixed with and/or altered by other gaseous
compounds and/or solid particles.
Using it for purposes other than those for which it is intended and
non-compliant with the indications in this manual will automatically exempt
the Manufacturer and its Dealers from any direct and/or indirect liability.
The heat pump is CE marked in compliance with the provisions of
Directives 2006/42/EC, 2014/30/EC, 2014/35/EC and subsequent
amendments by the European Community.
5. Product identification and technical data
In compliance with Directive 2014/68/EU (PED) as well as
with the regulations No. 812/2013 and No. 814/2013 issued
by Directive 2009/125/EC (ErP - Ecodesign Requirements
for Energy-related Products) and by Directive 2010/30/EC (Energy
labelling of products), the technical and heat loss specifications
together with the energy categories are written on the labels/
technical sheets attached to product. These labels/technical sheets
must be considered as an integral part of these instructions for use
The product label includes the following technical, energy and
identification data of the product; the label on the Heat Pump indicates
the serial number and the bar code that identify the heat pump:
