a. When a heart rate is measured, it indi-
cates the initial result after 7.5 seconds
(counting from the first pulse beat).
b. If no heart rate has been measured for
6s, the result is reset to zero.

d. If the heart rate is above the preset
value, the heart rate in the pulse window
will flash every second or the PULSE
OVER ALARM = 2 ALARMS per se-
cond will sound, (the alarm sounds every
