7. PLACING THE CHILD IN THE SEAT GROUP 1
To seat the child correctly follow the steps described in chapter 4.
8.REMOVING THE HARNESS AND SAFETY BUCKLE
Removing the 5 point harness and the safety buckle
8.1. Loosen the harness straps by pulling them gently while pressing the harness adjustment button (E) ( g.8.1)
8.2. Loosen the harness straps from the back of the seat, freeing them from the harness connector (I). Repeat the operation with the shoulder
straps connector (O) ( g. 8.2 and 8.3).
8.3. Pull the harness straps from the front to free them from the seat back ( g.8.4).
8.4. Take o the safety buckle (D), passing the retention plate through the seat base slots.
Removing the fabric cover
8.5. Take o the headrest fabric cover ( g.8.5).
8.6. Take o the seat cover unbuttoning the brackets that secure the cover to the plastic base. Pull the shoulder straps (B) through the base
cover eyelets ( g.8.6).
8.7. Take o the fabric cover from the car seat.
9. INSTALING THE CHILD SEAT GROUP 2
Before installing the seat for Group 2, the seat harnesses (B), harness protectors (C) and buckle (D) must be removed. Please, for this, follow
chapter 8.1.
9.1. Ensure the seat is not in a reclined position (the indicator should be in position 1) and is ready to install in forward position (Group 1) as
shown in g. 6.1. Pull the lever (G) forward and adjust the angle of recline to position 1 without releasing the lever. If it is necessary swivel
the seat 180º to place the seat in the direction of travel ( g. 6.1.A). Release the lever when the seat is in the desired position ( g. 6.1)
9.2. Place the child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle facing in the direction of travel ( g. 6.3).
10. PLACING THE CHILD IN THE SEAT GROUP 2
10.1. According to the child's height the headrest can be adjusted up or down. Place your hand on the headrest height regulator and pull
while pulling the seat down with the other hand so it does not move (9.1).
10.2. Place the child safety seat in the back seat of the vehicle facing in the direction of travel.
10.3. Pass the vehicle seat belt through the slot on the back of the safety seat (M) until it appears at the exit as you see in the illustrations 9.2
and 9.3.
10.4. Place the child in the seat.
10.5. Pass the vehicle seat belt across the child's body and insert the belt in the other side safety seat slot (M) until it appears at the exit and
buckle the vehicle seat belt until you hear a click ( g. 9.4).
10.6. T ake up the slack by pulling the abdominal section of the belt until it is as tight- tting as possible. Ensure that the belt is tighten.
11. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
To clean the straps and plastic elements of the seat use a neutral detergent and warm water.
•
Make sure that soap does not enter the buckles or other metallic elements.
•
Do not use chemical products or bleach on any part of the seat.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
• The cover is removable and can be washed at 30°. It should not be machine dried.
• Machine wash – Cold cycle.
• Do not bleach.
• For dry cleaning use any solvent except trichloroethylene.
• Do not use a drier.
