The valve terminals type CPASC−DN have been designed
exclusively for use as slaves on the DeviceNet field bus.
The maximum limits in the technical specifications must
not be exceeded. Detailed information can be found in the
manual P.BE−CPASC−CPVSC−DN−... .
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (this will prevent functional
damage).
S Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electri
cal isolation of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN
EN60204−1. Consider also the general requirements
for PELV circuits in accordance with IEC/DIN
EN60204−1.
S Earth the valve terminal at the earth connection on
the housing and via pin 5 (screening/shield) for the
power supply.
S Commission only a CP system which is fitted and
wired completely.
