on operating hours, if applicable.
Servicing and maintenance
on the machine!
Clean the shredder with a hand
brush or a damp cloth.
Spray the blades and bolts with
an anticorrosive agent.
Check all screws periodically
for a tight fit and retighten when
necessary.
Store the unit in a dry place.
Changing blades
A Loosen star screw 9.
B Remove upper part of
housing 10 as described.
C Block blade plate 11. Using
a socket wrench, loosen the
nuts M 16 (24 mm) by turning
to the left. When assembling,
make sure the nuts are tight.
Required torque 100 Nm.
Fit the nuts only with a locking
ring.
Pull out the
mains plug
before begin-
ning any work
The machine may not be

cleaned with a high-
pressure cleaner or a strong jet
of water.
To transport the shredder in
a passenger car, remove the
upper part of the housing 10
as follows:
Loosen star screw 9.

Turn upper part of housing 10

90° and lift it out of the
articulated fork (fig. B).
Do not tilt upper part of
A
housing 10 when lifting it
out or replacing it.
D Remove the blade plate 11
from the shaft using a rod iron
and open-jawed spanner.
E Remove the triangular blades 12
using a hexagon socket wrench,
turn it and replace it with the
sharp edge up.
F The crown blade 13 can be
sharpened using a file as shown.
Use only original spare parts!
