Definition of alert icons

The following alert icons are used in this document to inform the user of possible
danger. A definition of the meaning of each alert icon is as follows:
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it could result in death
or serious injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it could result in
physical injury. It may also be used to alert against unsafe practices.
NOTICE
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it could result in
damage to the product or environment.

Typographical conventions

Text
This symbol marks information which makes it easier to use the product.

Texts written in bold mark labels on the instrument and screen
texts.
In warning information, this triangle marks ways of avoiding the
danger.
