16. Warranty

MX-300 is covered by a warranty of one year from the date of purchase. Warranty claims may only be made
upon presentation of the original sales receipt/invoice from the authorized dealer. Parts which are subject to
natural wear and tear (wear parts) and consumables are excluded from the guarantee. These parts are marked
in the spare part list. The warranty is voided in case of improper use; failure to observe the operating, cleaning,
maintenance and connection instructions; in case of independent repairs or repairs by unauthorized person-
nel; if spare parts from other manufacturers are employed or in case of unusual influences or influences not in
compliance with the utilization instructions.
Warranty service shall not extend the original warranty.
In the event of replacement of the unit the period of warranty of one year doesn't change and remains con-
nected to the first unit (serial number) mentioned to the original sales receipt/invoice from the authorized
dealer.
IMPORTANT: Always keep the original product packaging throughout the guarantee period. You will need the
packaging if the product has to be returned to the Service Centre for repairs or replacement in the event of
manufacturing defects or malfunction (with the exception of willful damage, negligence, failure to perform
routine maintenance or damage during transport). The customer is responsible for all costs associated with
unsuitable packaging of the product to be returned to the Service Center. Motion is not liable for faults, mal-
functions or damage to the product deriving from or consequent to the use of unsuitable packaging, or
packaging not of a quality equal to or better than the packaging used for the original shipment.
