3.1 INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE ON A WALL

NOTE: It is highly recommended to have another person assist in the installation.

A. Remove the bracket screws at the top of the appliance. Slide the mounting bracket down and
forwards to disengage the bottom clips from the appliance.
B. Select a mounting location that is not prone to moisture and is located at least 914mm (36in)
away from combustible materials such as curtain drapes, furniture, bedding, paper, etc.
C. Mark the four drill hole locations. Using a 6-mm drill bit, drill the 4 holes marked on the wall and
fi t with the supplied plastic anchors. NOTE: It is strongly recommended that the mounting
bracket be screwed into the wall studs where possible. If the wall studs cannot be used,
ensure that the supplied plastic anchors are used to affi x the bracket to the wall and the
bracket is adequately secured.
D. With the wall mounting bracket installed, have two people lift the appliance up and set onto the
bottom clips of the bracket. Insert the top bracket into the back of the appliance. Secure with two
screws into the top of the appliance, connecting it to the mounting bracket.
E. Sprinkle the crystal embers along the ember bed, refer to "CRYSTAL EMBER INSTALLATION"
section.
F. Install the glass front onto the appliance by connecting the clips at the back of the glass to the
appliance. Secure the glass with two screws.
G. Check the appliance for stability, ensuring it will not pull free from the wall.
