4.0 FINISHING

POWER SUPPLY SERVICE MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO FINISHING TO AVOID
4.1

GLASS DOOR REMOVAL

FACING AND/OR FINISHING MATERIALS MUST NOT INTERFERE WITH AIR FLOW THROUGH AIR
OPENINGS, LOUVRE OPENINGS, OPERATION OF LOUVRE OR DOORS OR ACCESS FOR
SERVICE. OBSERVE ALL CLEARANCES WHEN APPLYING COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
BEFORE DOOR IS REMOVED TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF AND WAIT UNTIL APPLIANCE IS COOL
TO THE TOUCH. DOORS ARE HEAVY AND FRAGILE SO HANDLE WITH CARE.
A. Remove the 2 screws.
B. Lift the door upwards and back until the top clips are clear from the appliance.
C. Tilt the bottom of the glass door away from the appliance.
4.2

CRYSTAL EMBER INSTALLATION

Glass front and log set must be removed and the appliance must be mounted in its fi nal location before the
crystal embers are installed.
A. CLEAN CRYSTAL MEDIA: Crystal media may have a fi ne oil
residue that needs to be cleaned prior to installation. Clean the
crystal with mild dish soap, drain, rinse thoroughly and dry before
placing into the tray.
B. Remove the log set. Place the plastic media tray into the front of
the appliance and secure with 2 screws on either end.
C. Carefully place crystal embers into the tray as illustrated. Apply an
even layer from side to side.

AIR OPENINGS CANNOT BE COVERED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
GLASS MAY BE HOT, DO NOT TOUCH GLASS UNTIL COOLED.
