3 Installation
Connecting to the field bus
Please note
S Refer to the manual for your PLC / scanner for the
type of cable to be used. Take into account the cable
length and baud rate.
The field bus node is supplied with power via the field bus
cable. Bus slaves can have different tolerances as regards
the bus power supply.

SPC200−COM−CAN
Avoid long distances between the power unit for the bus
supply and the field bus node of the SPC200.
Recommendation:
Place the power unit approximately in the centre of the
bus. Select suitable cable cross−sectional areas and take
into account the voltage drop on the supply cable.
